Another snow storm on the East Coast! This one left behind about 12-18 inches of snow. It's been one storm a week since Christmas. Schools are closed and I am enjoying the day off - even started a blog. All things happen for a reason. Although with the snow comes the headaches of shoveling and hassles of traveling, it also brings joy on the faces of children and nostalgic feelings of childhood.
Through my kids, I can remember what it was like to enjoy a day off of school to go play in the snow. The rolling in the snow, snowball fights, building a snowman, making snow angels - then coming inside for the hot chocolate - YUM! There were no worries, just fun and more fun. What a good feeling!
Today's snow day will be one of fun! Tomorrow can go back to the ordinary stresses and responsibilities of adulthood but today is a SNOW DAY!
